Dennis Elisco represents Jordan Brown, who's accused of shooting and killing his father's pregnant girlfriend at their home in Wampum last month.

Elisco told the Beaver County Times that he's going to wait until Brown undergoes evaluations by a psychologist and a psychiatrist before petitioning for the case to be moved to juvenile court.

Brown is accused in the shooting death of 26-year-old Kenzie Houk. Houk was shot while she was lying in bed.

Charged as an adult with homicide, Brown was originally taken to the Lawrence County Jail. He was then transferred to the Allencrest Juvenile Detention Center in Brighton Township, Beaver County. He is currently being held in the Edmund L. Thomas Adolescent Detention Center in Erie.

Brown is being held without bond. Elisco will argue for bail at a hearing scheduled for later this month.
