2009 WASHINGTON, Pa. -- A Washington bar was shut down by District Attorney Steven Toprani on Wednesday, two days after a man was shot to death.Police padlocked the doors at Cabaret West on Chestnut Street, where 23-year-old Troy Saunders was shot early Monday morning.Washington Mayor Anthony Spossey said there had been several reports of violence and shootings associated with the bar throughout the years. In fact, Saunders was wounded in a 2006 shooting.Toprani cited 75 incidents over a three-year period involving arrests for drug dealing, assaults and firearms violations.Along with Saunders, two other people were hit by Monday's gunfire but survived. No arrests have been made.
