NEW BRIGHTON, Pa. -- Police arrested a man in Beaver County overnight accused in a shooting.

Vernon Redd, 28, of Aliquippa, was arrested at Sandy's Barn House Inn, located in the 800 block of Third Street in New Brighton, after a shooting shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday.

The unidentified victim was flown to an area hospital, where he was last listed in serious to fair condition. Investigators did not immediately specify a motive.
