State police said troopers chased Michael Ellerbe on foot after he crashed a stolen car into a house in a residential neighborhood and ran away. Shots were fired and the suspect was hit.Fayette County Coroner Dr. Phillip Reilly said Thursday that Ellerbee died of a single gunshot wound to the back.The youth was treated at the scene and transported to Uniontown Hospital, where he was pronounced dead of a gunshot wound.Troopers Juan Curry and Samuel Nassan -- both of the Uniontown barracks -- have been placed on administrative leave, pending an internal investigation.
