State police said they're investigating a man who may have videotaped or taken pictures of other men in restrooms in Indiana, Westmoreland and Allegheny counties.

The 29-year-old man isn't being identified publicly, but Trooper Jeanne Martin said he's known to police and is about 5 feet 11 inches and 200 pounds.

One man said he caught the unidentified suspect in the act at a Wal-Mart store in Latrobe and held onto him while police were called.

"As he was using the bathroom, he looked up and saw a hand holding a recording device over the bathroom stall wall," Martin said. "When he finished, he went out and he confronted this person."

Police said some of the other suspected incidents happened in the Murrysville and Monroeville areas from September to November, and some of the footage had been put on a computer.

"We were able to get a hold of this recording device and find that there were numerous incidents of men being videotaped using restroom facilities," Martin said.

Police want businesses in those areas to report any incidents that fit the description of this case.
