An East Liberty man will be going to trial on murder charges.

Prosecutors said 19-year-old Jesse Engram shot and killed a man outside the Sunoco gas station in north Point Breeze.

The victim was 20-year-old Korey Johnson. Johnson died after several shots were fired into his SUV.

Police believe Johnson was targeted because he witnessed the shooting death of 12-year-old Kholen Germany in April.
