Pittsburgh police are investigating a shooting death after a body was found lying in the street in St. Clair Village.

Police said 20-year-old Michael Revis was found shot dead early on Thursday morning.

Neighbors told WTAE Channel 4's news exchange partners at the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that they heard gunshots around 2 a.m. and that the victim lived in a nearby apartment complex.

Children discovered the body on Fisher Street near the intersection with Kohne Street at about 8:25 a.m.

Lt. Kevin Kraus of the Pittsburgh Police Department said Revis was shot at least once in the head.
