A new Tanger Outlet Center is open this weekend in South Strabane, Washington County.

Billboards are up and retailers are working on their stores at the center, located off the Meadowlands/Racetrack Road exit on Interstate 79, about 20 miles south of Pittsburgh.

There are 75 brand name and designer outlet stores, including Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Coach, Harry and David and Timberland. Some of them sell merchandise at an average of 40 percent off full retail prices.

The pastel-colored stores and colonial-style architecture are meant to be a throwback to Pennsylvania's old carriage homes.

Attractions this weekend will include a ferris wheel, carousel, carnival games and prizes and fireworks.
