Rescuers Use Ropes, 4WD Vehicle To Reach ManQuad Runner Flips Over, Down Hill In Wayne TownshipPOSTED: 12:08 pm EDT July 20, 2008 WAYNE TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Crews rescued a man riding a quad runner that flipped over down a hill in Lawrence County overnight.Authorities said the 30-year-old man was riding on railroad tracks when it flipped over. The man was able to dial 911 from his cell phone in Wayne Township.Rescue crews used ropes to reach him and a four-wheel drive vehicle responded to the scene to take the man to a landing site where a medical helicopter took him to an area hospital.Action News has learned the man is being treated for a back injury.
