Two Men Shot, Killed In Lincoln-Lemington

PITTSBURGH -- Police are investigating a double-homicide that occurred in the city's Lincoln-Lemington section Saturday evening.Two men were shot and killed around 6 p.m. near the area of Apple Street.According to police, both men were shot while traveling inside of the van.
Detectives say Victory Security guard were doing a property check when they heard shots fired from the area of the van.Officials then say the Victory Security guards began to follow the vehicle before it eventually returned to Apple Street where the driver and the other passenger abandoned the vehicle at Apple Street near Grotto.Victory Security guards detained the fleeing passenger but the driver fled to a wooded area, eluding police.Authorities say the van was not reported stolen and is owned by someone in the Beaver Falls area.The identities of the victims and the passenger have not been released.Police have not made any arrests.Refresh this page often and watch Channel 4 Action News for the latest updates.
