Army Reserve soldiers from the 316th Expeditionary Sustainment Command returned to Coraopolis, Moon Township, Tuesday after a year-long deployment in Iraq.

One-hundred-ten soldiers returned home around 11:00 a.m. after 12 months in Iraq. A police escort led them to Moon Area High School where family and friends threw a welcome home party for their returning loved ones.

The returning unit is the Army’s first expeditionary sustainment command. It was the first to deploy and provided command and control for assigned logistics units in Iraq.
