Beaver County continued to be the target of a storm Saturday that caused massive power outages.

Emergency services said Ohioville, Industry and Midland Borough are having the toughest time.

Route 168 was shut down because of a branch hanging from a high tension wire.

"We can't do anything until Duquesne Light comes and shuts the power off," one firefighter said.

Firefighters estimated that at the height of the storm, hundreds were without power in the area.

In New Brighton, trees filled the streets in the Brightwood Manor Housing Project on Third Avenue. One of the trees was completely uprooted, officials said.

Daughtery Township was also hit hard, as crews tried to restore power after a downed tree fell on a power line.

Officials said Allenwood Road was shut down to keep drivers away from the area until crews removed the hazardous tree.

Dozens of trees were also down in Scott Township as firefighters worked to clear debris in Municipal Park.
