SOUTH CONNELLSVILLE, Pa. -- The mayor of South Connellsville in Fayette County declared a state of emergency Saturday night because many homes have flooded basements.
Homeowners with damaged foundations have been ordered to evacuate.

Haynes said Saturday's rain fell within one hour.
By the late evening, temperatures dipped below 70 degrees and fog overstretched the region.
