Young Washington Man Drowned In Creek After Going Fishing

Cody Reed Found Dead In Enlow Creek

A 19-year-old man whose body was found in a creek drowned accidentally, according to the Washington County coroner.

Cody C. Reed, of Washington, was found dead early on the morning of April 21 in Enlow Creek in West Finley Township, state police said.

Reed had gone fishing on April 20 with a friend, who left Reed for a while and couldn't find Reed after he came back, according to police.

Hours later, a team of local firefighters and emergency responders found the body.

State police are continuing to investigate Reed's death.
