Local U.S. Army National Guard Soldiers To Be Deployed

WASHINGTON, Pa. -- A Pennsylvania U.S. Army National Guard unit based in Washington, Washington County, will be going back to Iraq.This is the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 28th Infantry Division.The deployment includes the 128th Brigade Support Battalion in Beechview, the 110th Infantry Regiment in Mount Pleasant, the 107th Field Artillery in New Castle and the Second Brigade Troops Battalion in Johnstown.
The unit is expected to be deployed in late 2009.
