A Pittsburgh woman has won $2.9 million playing a multistate progressive jackpot game in West Virginia.

Nora A. Baden won the CA$HOLA jackpot last Friday at Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack.

Baden said she was feeling lucky that night and made her husband take her to the casino.

She said she had just about given up, but her husband wanted to try another game, so she put $20 in the machine. About $3 into the game, she nailed the jackpot.

"Five of those symbols came up, no idea (it was a) big jackpot," she said. "My husband looked and went you won the big one. You're a millionaire."

Baden said she is going to use the money to invest, finish up home projects and get a new car. She said she has already quit her job.

"My husband is going to continue to work though," she said. "That's his choice."

The track announced Monday that Baden's jackpot was the largest ever paid in the multistate progressive video lottery game.

"We're thrilled for Nora," said Wheeling-Island President James Simms. "Life-changing prize and just another reason to come to Wheeling-Island."

CA$HOLA features a shared prize pool that can be won by players in West Virginia, Delaware and Rhode Island.
