Kennywood Park Closer To New Ownership

WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. -- Kennywood Park is closer to falling under the new ownership of a Spanish company.Shareholders OK'd the sale for the park on Thursday, along with its sister parks, Sandcastle Water Park in West Homestead and Idlewild & SoakZone in Ligonier.The parks are being bought by Parques Reunidos, based in Madrid.
The Federal Trade Commission still has to approve the deal.
