The Allegheny County medical examiner said a man shot to death by Pittsburgh police last week in Mount Oliver was hit by at least three bullets.

Police said they shot Justin Jackson, 19, after he shot and killed their police dog, Aulf, who had been released to subdue Jackson on Arlington Avenue.

Jackson was shot once by one police officer and at least twice by another. The police dog also bit him.

Shots from a .357-caliber revolver killed the dog. Police said that is the type of gun Jackson was carrying.

The medical examiner's office is waiting for results on some more tests to determine if Jackson fired the gun.
