2008 CRAFTON, Pa. -- The Allegheny County bomb squad was called into action Wednesday night after police in Crafton went to a house with a search warrant looking for a 17-year-old Carlynton High School student.Removed from the home on Cross Street were an improvised explosive device and a Molotov cocktail with a wick that smelled of gasoline, police officials said. They said the devices will be tested at the county lab.A friend of the unidentified Carlynton junior said he could not believe the boy was the target of the seizure."He's not popular. He's a little bit more quiet, but if you know him, he'll talk to you. He's a really great person to be around," Blake Asti said.Police said they evacuated two homes as a precaution.They said arrest warrants have not been issued in connection with the search.
