Teen Arrested In Pittsburgh CAPA Fire

Arson Squad Arrested 15-Year-Old Girl

A 15-year-old girl was arrested on Wednesday in connection with Monday’s small fire at Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts downtown.

The juvenile has been charged with arson endangering persons; arson endangering property; risking catastrophe; criminal mischief and institutional vandalism.

Students were briefly evacuated from the CAPA building. Nobody was hurt.

The girl is with her parents, and will be transported to the Shuman Juvenile Detention Center.
