PITTSBURGH -- A homeless man has been convicted in the death of a Pittsburgh man who let the defendant stay at his home.An Allegheny County jury found 41-year-old Clarence Turner guilty of third-degree murder for stabbing 54-year-old Glenn Smart. Police said Smart had allowed Turner to live with him during the winter because Turner was homeless.
Authorities say Smart was stabbed several times after an argument. His body was found in his apartment on Oct. 30, 2006.Authorities said Turner walked into a police station three days later to report he had been attacked on a street. Police said while they were questioning him, they learned of the argument between Turner and Smart.
