PITTSBURGH -- PennDOT said the outbound (eastbound) Parkway East/Interstate 376 will be closed at the Churchill exit because of construction work from 9 p.m. Friday through 4 p.m. Sunday.

The posted detour will be:

• Take the outbound Parkway East to Greensburg Pike (Exit 9)
• At end of exit ramp, make right onto Graham Boulevard
• Make right onto Penn Avenue (Route 2110)
• Continue on Penn Avenue and re-enter the Parkway East at the Monroeville interchange

The on-ramp to the outbound Parkway at Churchill (Exit 10A) will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday through 4 p.m. Sunday.

Also, the off-ramp from the outbound Parkway to northbound Route 8 at Wilkinsburg (Exit 8B) will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday through 4 p.m. Sunday.

And, the on-ramps from Route 8 (Wilkinsburg) and Route 30 (Forest Hills) to the outbound Parkway East at Wilkinsburg (Exit 8B) will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday through 9 p.m. on Aug. 29.

An ongoing construction project on the parkway has been causing lane and ramp closures over the past few months.
