A Pittsburgh homicide suspect is back in jail because authorities say he intimidated a witness in another case.

Bryan Sedlak, 36, had been on house arrest awaiting trial on homicide and abuse of corpse charges in the death of Patrick Kenney of Jefferson Hills. Kenney was last seen on Feb. 2, 2005. His body has never been found.

At a preliminary hearing for Sedlak in November, a key witness claimed he knew what happened the night of Kenney's slaying.

According to the witness, Kenney was killed inside a former tanning salon in Homestead.

The man said Kenney was not only slain at the salon but that his body was wrapped in a carpet, kicked and jumped on.

Sedlak is also awaiting trial on charges that he punched a man and broke his jaw.

The alleged victim, Brandon Stoken, testified Tuesday that Sedlak's friend offered to pay him a couple thousand dollars if he'd decline to testify.

Allegheny County Judge Kathleen Durkin revoked Sedlak's bail in the homicide case after hearing the testimony.

Sedlak's attorney declined comment.
