PITTSBURGH -- A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped while babysitting a 1-year-old in Dormont.

Deon Bowens (pictured, left), 22, was arrested Wednesday morning after Allegheny County police found him in a motel room. He was selling cleaning products for Austin Diversified Products, police said.

The alleged victim said she told Bowens that the owners were not home when he came to the door on June 18. Bowens then asked for some water, she said.

When the teen went inside to get the water and attend to the baby, who was crying, Bowens entered the home, pushed her onto the couch and raped her, said county police Lt. David Walsh.

Bowens said the sex was consensual, police said.
