Allegheny County Chief Executive Dan Onorato poured shots instead of taking them to placate a restaurateur upset with the county's new 10 percent drink tax.

Onorato tended bar at Mitchell's Restaurant, Bar and Banquet Center Friday evening. He said he would donate his tips to the Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League.

Restaurant owner Jim Mitchell had challenged Onorato to get in the ring at a charity boxing match, asking Onorato to repeal the tax if Mitchell won the bout. Onorato opted to tend bar instead.
