2007 PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh is on the forefront of something called "upcycling."Upcycling means taking something that would be thrown away and making it useful again.The Handmade Arcade is a one-of-a-kind eco-friendly artist and Indie craft fair that's taking place this weekend at Construction Junction in Point Breeze.At the fair, you can find Kool-Aid hand dyed yarn that's woven into shawls and caps, recycled greeting cards, old typewriter keys remade into jewelry, hand-me-down clothing gets transformed into updated stylish designs and plenty more eco-friendly products.There will be more than 100 vendors at the event, which is setting up shop on Saturday and Sunday.Last year, more than 5,000 people showed for the event.
