McKEES ROCKS, Pa. -- Fire destroyed three townhomes and damaged two others early Wednesday morning in McKees Rocks, forcing the people who lived there to evacuate.

The fire started at about 4 a.m. at Meyers Ridge in the 500 block of Friendship Avenue. (See Map)

All residents made it outside safely.

One passer-by was treated for smoke inhalation, firefighters said.

The Allegheny County fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
