Terrelle Pryor, considered one of the country's top high school football prospects by USA Today, is accused of creating a disturbance over the weekend at Kennywood Park.

WTAE Channel 4's Jennifer Miele reported that Pryor, of Jeannette High School, will receive a citation for disorderly conduct in the mail.

It's a summary offense, considered much less serious than a misdemeanor or a felony. Pryor would likely be ordered to pay a fine and not serve any jail time if he pleads guilty.

Police said Pryor was escorted out of Kennywood after getting into an argument with another customer at the park's Phantom Fright Nights on Saturday.

Police said Pryor continued to be "physically offensive" with security and created a "large disturbance," and that's why he is being cited.

Jeannette football coach Ray Reitz said Pryor was defending his girlfriend because the other person in the argument had touched her inappropriately.

"I'm not going to condone what he did, but he's an 18-year-old kid, and when you are 18, sometimes you act before you think," Reitz said.

Pryor is normally a good role model who signs autographs and visits with sick children, but he is under a tremendous amount of pressure because of his fame, Reitz said.

"He's in a fishbowl right now, so everybody sees him," Reitz said. "Let's face it, there's a lot of people out there right now who want to see him not make it."
