Tempers were flaring and fingers were being pointed at Tuesday night's North Shore casino meeting.

Hundreds of Pittsburgh residents packed the meeting, expecting Mayor Luke Ravenstahl to lead a discussion about the casino's economic impact on the North side.

But when those residents found out Ravenstahl wasn't there and the meeting was about the casino's design, some exploded with anger.

Residents said they're mad that they've been left out of the decision process.

"This is the first time you came to this community to say anything to us," said one upset North Side resident. "But you don't even want to listen to us. You came here to tell us something. We want to tell you something."

Casino owner Don Barden has promised $1 million a year for three years for North Side improvements, an agreement he made a year and a half ago, but some in the crowd said that's not enough.

Those residents said they would visit Ravenstahl next week to voice their concerns.

"We just wanted to let the man know that we'll be coming to visit him next week to air our concerns," said Khari Mosley of North Side United.
