Wednesday marks the one-year anniversary of a massive landslide that dumped dirt and debris onto Route 65 in Kilbuck Township.

A section of the road shut down for more than a week while crews cleaned up the mess.

Heavy rainfall caused the ground to move over an inch in August. The Department of Environmental Protection is concerned that might be an indicator of another potential landslide.

Rep. Thomas Petrone said it could take three or four years for the site to be completely stabilized.

Wal-Mart has committed $25 million to the project.
