SHAFTON, Pa. -- Police said a man was arrested after he rode around on a motorcycle with his toddler on his lap.

The incident occurred in the Shafton area of North Huntingdon in Westmoreland County, WTAE Channel 4 Action News reported.

Police charged 33-year-old Michael Marincic with endangering the welfare of a child.

Neighbors called police to tell them Marincic was riding for more than a half-hour, sometimes taking his hands off the handlebars.

Marincic told police he was a motorcycle safety instructor, which they have yet to confirm.
