A surveillance video camera captured vandals tagging several buildings with graffiti in Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill neighborhood last week, police said.

About a dozen businesses on Murray and Forward avenues were hit with the tags "Aose," "Nac," "Gost" and "Cdeez," according to a report by WTAE Channel 4's news exchange partner, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Equity Real Estate is one of the tagged buildings.

"We did turn over the video to police and we'd certainly like to find somebody, or hope the police find somebody and arrest someone for this," said Jerry Speer, of Equity Real Estate. "Maybe we can have them pay for some of the costs and they would learn a lesson."

Police said the total damages are estimated at more than $16,000.
