One month after a Moon Township man was struck by three vehicles and killed on the South Side of Pittsburgh, police continue to search for answers in the case.

City homicide detectives said 24-year-old David Hall was struck on West Carson Street near the Duquesne Incline at about 11:40 p.m. on July 20.

Hall went into the street to approach a Port Authority bus and ask the driver a question, and he was struck as he stepped back from the bus, according to police.

Detectives said all three vehicles that hit Hall stopped, but the driver of the first one left before police arrived.

That driver was described by police as a white man in his 30s standing 5 feet 7 inches tall with a stocky build and short, dark, gelled hair. He was driving a dark-colored sport utility vehicle, said police.

Police have developed a composite sketch of the driver, based on witness descriptions, but they have little information about the vehicle that he was driving.
