Police said a Youngwood man didn't act alone in collecting dozens of lewd photos of children.

The mother of a girl who police said was abused by the man has been charged with allowing a convicted sex offender to satisfy his foot fetish with her children.

Police said the Mount Pleasant mother, whose name were not releasing, snapped the pictures while her cousin-by-marriage pleasured himself. She is charged with felony sexual abuse of children, corruption of a minor and indecent assault.

Police said the mother allowed Timothy Murphy, 23, to play with her daughter's feet while he pleasured himself.

Murphy and the mother are pointing fingers at each other for taking pictures of the girl's feet while he licked whipped cream and chocolate off them.

Court papers said the mother didn't see a problem with it, because they were just feet.

Her attorney said that was then.

"It's a very serious issue," said defense attorney Jim Davis. "She's taking it seriously, and we're going to proceed accordingly."

Police said 40 pictures were found in a shed behind Murphy's Youngwood home, including pictures of other young children in the neighborhood.

Neighbors told police they saw Murphy with a camera many times snapping the pictures. After getting dozens of calls, police searched his house and then the shed.

Murphy told police that they were family photos taken years ago.

This is not the first time Murphy has been accused of abusing children. Court records indicate while working for a traveling carnival in Fayette County, he was convicted of molesting a co-worker's daughter.
