By the end of Saturday night, the owners of Mountaineer Racetrack in West Virginia will know if they will be getting table games.

Polls close Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Hancock County.

The election will decide whether the racetrack and gaming resort can offer blackjack, roulette, craps and other casino-style games.

Mountaineer said a "yes" would mean 700 more jobs.

"I think it would be a great opportunity for the people who need jobs, seeing that the mill is down and there are a lot of people who do need jobs," said Chester resident Mary Duran.

Others said the games do not fit the community.

"I just don't think it's a good thing for families, and I would rather it not come in," said Hancock County resident Laura Woodruff.

This is the third of four votes in West Virginia.

On June 9, Ohio County approved table games for Wheeling Island Racetrack and Gaming Center.

But voters in Jefferson County said "no" for the games at Charles Town Races and Slots.
