MEADOW LANDS, Pa. -- Meadows Racetrack & Casino officials Tuesday announced they have tentatively set a grand opening for 8:30 a.m. June 11. The Meadows is owned by Las Vegas-based Cannery Casino Resorts.
Test dates, which will benefit local charities, will take place this week on Friday and Sunday for invited guests only. Successful completion of the test dates and final Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board approval will be required before the grand opening can take place.
Proceeds from the test dates will benefit the Greater Washington County Food Bank and the Washington Hospital.
