WASHINGTON COUNTY, Pa. -- The temporary slots casino at The Meadows Racetrack in North Strabane Township will open for gambling in early June, although no exact date has been set.

Before it opens, they will have two test nights to make sure the 1,700 slots are working right.

For those test nights, the casino's owners won't keep their share of the gross gaming revenue. After the winners are paid and the state gets its slots tax revenue, the Meadows' management share will go to charity.
