Residents in Greenfield are fed up with recent landslides in the area that are destroying their homes and talked with City Council on Thursday for ways to fix the problem.

Watch the Report

Earlier this month, a landslide left one hillside in Greenfield so loose, that it took the city a week to find a contractor willing to remove a tree that was on the verge of falling in the 3800 block of Beechwood Boulevard.

Residents said the recent landslides are a problem, but the problem goes back for years.

Local lawmakers are working with the state to figure out a way to secure the land and fix the problems.

Until then, residents are worried recent rains could cause more landslides.
