New details have risen in the case of a missing Derry teenager.

Arley Earhart, the teenager who has been missing since Jan. 5, apparently left a message on her mother's answering machine saying she is OK.

But her mother is skeptical, and so are police.

Police are afraid that whomever is keeping Earhart is encouraging her to stay away from her parents.

"I just want to tell her that we love her," said Arley's mother, Renee McCleary. "We need her to call so we can talk to her. There's just been a few messages left. We still don't know who has her. Who is keeping her? Where she's at? And it's just very much a concern."

There is still a $5,000 reward for any information that helps bring Arley home safely.
