Police said they caught a notorious graffiti artist in the act Tuesday.

Police said Michael Beatty, 19, spray-painted his way across Pittsburgh -- especially the South Side -- until they found him with a spray can in hand.

Beatty has allegedly tagged buildings all over the city using "AYSE," "MOVE" and "NTB" as his calling card, police said, with the damages reaching nearly $25,000.

Beatty has been charged with 10 counts of criminal mischief.
