In one week, the Tenth Street bypass will be closed to all vehicles.

Construction will begin on the North Shore connector, closing the entire stretch of the bypass for six months.

The contractor will remove and replace retaining walls and construct new supports for Fort Duquesne Boulevard, clearing the way for the tunnel-boring machine to create the light rail tunnels underneath the ground.

Traffic will be detoured onto Fort Duquesne Boulevard.
