New concerns have risen on Friday about the stability of land along Route 65 in Kilbuck Township.

The Department of Environmental Protection said inspectors found a deep hole, about 3 feet wide, in the middle of the property, close to the site of September's landslide, which closed the road for two weeks.

DEP officials found the hole on Wednesday during a routine check.

The developer has been called to the site to take a closer look.
