2006 A man with prominent local ties is accused of participating in an international child pornography ring.William Irey is originally from Monongahela. His sister-in-law is Diana Irey, who's a Washington County commissioner and ran for Congress.William Irey now lives in Orlando, Fla., and is the president and CEO of a major Walt Disney World contractor.The grand jury indicted him on charges he traveled overseas to meet children and coerce them to engage in sexually explicit conduct.He pleaded not guilty.
