2001 FOND DU LAC, Wis. -- We all have to make decisions every day, but a Fond du Lac man never has to worry about what he's having for dinner -- because it almost never changes: a Big Mac, fries and a Coke.
He was at Fond du Lac High School for a math class demonstration where students figured his Big Mac consumption. It totaled 14 beef cattle, 560 pounds of cheese and 100 gallons of Special Sauce. He's even worked his ritual into his family life."My kids have probably eaten more Happy Meals than any kids in the world. There's no doubt about that," Gorske said.Although he skips breakfast and lunch, dedicating his hunger to the Big Mac, his cholesterol is a modest 155. And this Big Mac iron man has no plans of changing."I have no idea how long I'm going to live. I'm just going to keep eating Big Macs," he said.Don missed eight days of Big Macs because of his mother's funeral and blizzards -- when the restaurant didn't open. But he keeps a supply in his freezer now, just in case, so he doesn't miss a day. Distributed by Internet Broadcasting.
