State Rejects Kilbuck Properties' Soil Monitoring Request

The state has rejected a request by a developer to cut back on monitoring soil movement at that construction site where a massive landslide happened back in September along Route 65.

The Department of Environmental Protection turned down Kilbuck Properties' request, saying about 10 acres of the 75-acre site in Kilbuck Township continues to slide at about 1 inch per day.
