Fire Rips Through Oakdale Bar, Upstairs Apartment

Investigators are looking for the cause of a fire that damaged an Oakdale bar early Monday morning.

The fire started above Boock's Bar in the 5000 block of Noblestown Road (map) just before 5 a.m.

An apartment above the bar was gutted, firefighters said. Nobody was home at the time.
