Bigglesworth Near-Capture Caught On VideoCat Remains At LargePOSTED: 5:23 pm EDT October 5,
2001 PITTSBURGH -- The cat is still out of the bag, but there was a close call in the search for Mr. Bigglesworth on Friday. Regent Square neighbor Patty Sims videotaped the exotic African serval (pictured, right) as he took a nap on LaClair Avenue. However, the rare feline was awake and ready to run by the time owner Mark Nernberg arrived."I cornered him against a house and fence and he fell asleep as I videotaped him," Sims said. "When his owner came to catch him, it didn't quite go so well." Nernberg (pictured, left) says he obviously can't keep Mr. B indoors, so he will offer the cat to an animal sanctuary if he is ever found. Previous Stories:
