Ross Park Mall Adds Louis Vuitton, Burberry StoresSpecialty Retailers Coming To Pittsburgh Area For First TimeUPDATED: 5:25 pm EDT August 29, 2008 ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Louis Vuitton and Burberry stores are now open at Ross Park Mall, along with new Juicy Couture, Lucky Brand and Janie and Jack stores.Last month, the mall announced it would also add the Pittsburgh area's first Kate Spade store, along with Michael Kors, Juicy Couture, Lucky Brand and Janie and Jack. They're expected to open later this year.The specialty retailers are intended to complement Nordstrom, which is preparing to open its first Pittsburgh store in October at Ross Park Mall."The face of retail in western Pennsylvania is going to change forever," said mall manager Lisa Earl. "You can't get these stores other than going to Washington, D.C., or Philadelphia, so it's huge. The entire region will be impacted."Nordstrom will be built in a new space on the former site of the Lazarus department store, which closed years ago.Renovations to add more space for the new stores near Nordstrom are continuing."If you walk out of Nordstrom, you'll have on the lower level Tiffany and Louis Vuitton and Burberry and BCBG," said Earl.
