Jose Castillo hit a three-run homer and Humberto Cota added a pair of solo shots to lead the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 9-7 victory over Philadelphia in Grapefruit League play.

Ty Wigginton finished 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and three RBI for Pittsburgh.

Phillies starter Gavin Floyd, who will begin the season in the starting rotation in place of injured righthander Vicente Padilla, was charged with eight runs on nine hits and two walks in three innings.

Pirates starter Kip Wells allowed four runs -- two earned -- on eight hits in four innings.

Tomas Perez hit two solo home runs for the Phillies.
