MLB Game Summary - Pittsburgh At Tampa Bay

Matt Lawton had two hits and two RBI to lead the Pittsburgh Pirates past the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, 6-2, in Grapefruit League action from Progress Energy Park.

Jack Wilson added three hits and an RBI for the Pirates, who improved to 9-12-1 this spring.

Pittsburgh ace Oliver Perez earned the win as he allowed just a run on three hits in five innings. He also fanned five without walking a batter.

Dewon Brazelton, the Devil Rays' Opening Day starter, pitched well through three innings, but was tagged with the loss after surrendering two runs and five hits in five frames. He also fanned three and walked a pair.

Alex Gonzalez homered in the loss, while Carl Crawford knocked in the other Tampa Bay run.
